Designing Woman and the Blog

After having a blog for less than twenty-four hours I am officially irritated, so I thought I would inform the masses.

I have been trying to add a cute design to my blog from shabbyblogs.com but I have been unsuccessful. Help! If anyone is reading this, please give me step-by-step instructions on how to get a cute design. Thank you.

On another note, did anyone ever watch Designing Women? I grew up in Georgia which is basically a southern requirement, including black eyed peas and sweet tea.

After watching almost every episode growing up and having an addiction to HGTV you would think I would have all of the necessary knowledge to decorate for my wedding. This is not so. However, Brent and I are very thankful and blessed by the Lord and those at our church.

Men & Shopping

Who doesn't love Target?

Over lunch yesterday, Brent and I were discussing his plans for the rest of the day; Target happened to be on his list of things to do. Excitingly, Brent asks me if I need anything. I'm thinking 'Of course I do, but am I willing to take the chance that I may not get exactly what I want?'

Okay, here goes nothing: I need cotton rounds (Me: "Do you know what those are?", Brent: "Cotton what?" Me: "Oh no."), Crest Vivid White toothpaste (the one in the small bottle that is supposed to remove 90% of surface stains, because my teeth have to be white for my big day), a new loufa, and some 5 gum (spearmint flavor) please and thank you.

After lunch, I got back to work and decided to confirm the list. I texted Brent with the list, again.

At about 5:30 pm I was finally able to see what surprises were purchased for me. A loufa (green? ok.): check, Crest vivid white toothpaste (in the small bottle): check, Cotton rounds (the up & up brand): check, and 5 gum (peppermint flavor): half a check, because I requested spearmint please.

I would just like to say that Brent did a very good job with our Target list.
